Bespoke AV-integrated furniture for a specialist teaching environment
Design-Led supported the creation of a dedicated Moot Court Room for the University of Bedfordshire, helping transform the space into a professional, practical and technology-ready environment for legal education.
The project required more than standard furniture. The room needed to feel credible and formal, while also supporting teaching, presentations, hearings, student practice and AV integration within a carefully planned layout.

THE CHALLENGE
Specialist teaching spaces need to work on several levels.
For the University of Bedfordshire, the Moot Court Room needed to provide a realistic legal setting for students, while still functioning as a modern university teaching and presentation space.
The challenge was to create a room that looked professional, supported formal courtroom-style activity and allowed technology to be integrated cleanly without compromising the appearance or usability of the space.
